Two Ways to Apply Your Label
Method 1 — Apply directly on top of the existing label
-
Peel one custom label from the backing.
-
Carefully align it over the existing Tic Tac label on the 1 oz box.
-
Press from the center outward to smooth out bubbles.
-
Use a plastic card for extra smoothing if desired.
Pros: Fast and easy — minimal prep.
Cons: You may notice slight show-through of the original label, especially if it has dark colors or strong printing.
Tip: Choose boxes with lighter-colored original labels (white or pale backgrounds) for the best appearance.
Method 2 — Remove the colorful top layer and apply the new label (best results)
-
Using a fingernail, tweezers, or a rough sponge, gently peel off the colorful top layer of the original label — you do not need to remove the sticky base layer under it.
-
Wipe the area lightly with a dry cloth so it’s clean and dry.
-
Peel your personalized label off the backing and align it onto the now-exposed surface.
-
Press firmly to smooth out any air bubbles; use a plastic card if needed.
Pros: Cleanest, most professional look — nothing shows through underneath.
Cons: Takes a little more time and care.
